"Democrats are always suspect on national security, and anything that makes them look weak on national security creates an opportunity for Republicans," said Whit Ayres, a GOP pollster.
And they know what about national security? We've only had two major terrorist attacks on US soil. One was on the Republicans watch and the other one was actually carried out by a Republican. Their foreign policy and domestic rhetoric creates terrorists, they direct the majority of our resources to non-threats, and most national Republicans have a deep personal and business relationship with the Saudi Royal family. Beyond suspect, that is in fact hard evidence the GOP can't be trusted on national security.
